We had an excellent couple of nights in the centre of Birmingham, with a superb location that put us in a secure apartment in a gated block with concierge. The Mailbox complex was very close by, with restaurants next to the canal, and it was also only a 10-minute walk to the Bullring shopping centre and New Street railway station.
